My interest in museums started on a school trip. I loved the stories behind the artefacts and what they showed about history, people, and cultures. But I realised many students never get that chance. MLN began with the goal of making museums easier to access for young people.
Museums in India aren’t just about culture. They’re powerful for learning. Reading about the Indus Valley is different from seeing the artefacts at the National Museum. Science class tells you about fossils, but a natural history museum shows you how ancient they are. Museums spark curiosity and imagination in ways classrooms alone cannot.
I don’t have a single favourite. Each museum offers something unique. My mission is to make India a museum superpower, where every child and adult can experience history, culture, and learning firsthand.
It would be interactive and fun, where visitors explore, experiment, and engage with exhibits. A place where curiosity is encouraged, discovery is exciting, and learning happens naturally at every turn.
